Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to support federal modernization, cloud transformation, and mission-critical technology initiatives. This on-site role is in Huntsville, AL.

You will lead user-centered design efforts for cloud-based applications, data-driven workflows, dashboards, and complex digital interfaces aimed at modernizing critical government systems. The position requires 8+ years in UI/UX with a Bachelor’s degree, experience with data-intensive interfaces,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of UI/UX or related digital design experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience designing data-intensive dashboards and enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar tools.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX research and development of user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs for complex applications.
• Design responsive interfaces, high-fidelity mockups, design systems, and reusable components for web-based platforms and dashboards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, cloud, and technical teams to translate complex requirements into user-centered designs.
• Conduct usability testing and design validation, incorporating feedback to improve accessibility and functionality.
• Develop and maintain design specifications, prototypes, component libraries, and developer handoff materials while supporting Section 508 compliance.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to support a company focused on federal modernization, cloud transformation, and mission-critical technology initiatives. This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL.

The Senior UI/UX Designer will lead user-centered design efforts for cloud-based applications, data-driven workflows, dashboards, and complex digital interfaces. This is an opportunity to play a key role in modernizing critical government systems by transforming technical and operational requirements into intuitive, accessible, and effective user experiences.

Responsibilities for the Senior UI/UX Designer include:

• Lead UX research and discovery efforts while developing user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs for complex applications
• Design responsive user interfaces, high-fidelity mockups, design systems, and reusable components for web-based applications, dashboards, and data-driven platforms
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, cloud, and technical teams to translate complex requirements and workflows into intuitive user-centered designs
• Conduct usability testing and design validation while incorporating user and stakeholder feedback to improve functionality, accessibility, and overall user experience
• Develop and maintain design specifications, prototypes, component libraries, and developer handoff documentation while supporting Section 508 and accessibility requirements

Required Qualifications for the Senior UI/UX Designer include:

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, user experience design, human-centered design, digital product design, or related environments, with a Bachelor’s degree required
• Demonstrated experience designing complex, data-intensive interfaces, dashboards, or enterprise applications
• Proficiency with UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar technologies
• Experience working within Agile or SAFe environments and translating complex technical workflows into intuitive digital experiences
• Must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior UI/UX Designer include:

• Experience designing cloud-based applications, data visualizations, dashboards, or other complex digital platforms
• Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG, accessibility testing, and accessible design practices
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, front-end development concepts, and modern application architectures
• Experience supporting federal technology, modernization, or other secure technology environments

Compensation for the Senior UI/UX Designer includes:

Salary Range: Competitive salary depending on experience
