Job summary

Qualifications

  • University degree required or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of financial services experience required; 7+ years preferred.
  • Work Career Level 8IC: 5+ years in financial services; 7+ years preferred; fiduciary administration focus.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and grows Trust, Investment Agency and Custody accounts for high net-worth clients.
  • Participates in management level committees.
  • Deepens client relationships and expands product exposure.
  • Analyzes and executes Trust accounts per legal instruments with fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Communicates with clients and third-party service providers to ensure high client satisfaction and presents financial reports.
  • Ensures accounts comply with legal, regulatory, and internal fiduciary procedures.
  • Develops partnerships with Portfolio Managers and Wealth Management Advisors.
  • Advises clients on trust matters considering complexity, distance and accessibility.
  • Assists with new processes to improve efficiency of fiduciary administration.

Trust Administrator

The Sr. Trust Administrator serves as subject matter expert on fiduciary matters and high net-worth client specific issues focused on growth, retention and client satisfaction communicating with clients, agencies, advisors, and other partners on the laws and options concerning trusts and estate matters.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Focuses on administering and growing Trust, Investment Agency and Custody accounts for our high net-worth clients and serves as an SME.
  • Participates in management level committees.
  • Deepens and grows client relationships and increase product exposure.
  • Analyzes, interprets and executes Trust accounts as directed by the legal instrument with a laser focus on our duties and responsibilities as a Trustee.
  • Proactively communicates with client and third -party service providers to ensure a high level of client satisfaction; prepare and presents financial reports to clients providing updates on the status of their trusts.
  • Ensures account complies with all legal, regulatory, and internal procedures regarding Fiduciary Administration.
  • Conducts regular reviews of Trust, Investment Agency, and Custody accounts to ensure proper administration and adherence to fiduciary responsibilities; monitors, identifies and resolves issues.
  • Develops partnership and collaboration with internal business partners, including Portfolio Managers and Wealth Management Advisors.
  • Communicates advice to clients; understands the nuances of managing relationships based on complexity, distance and accessibility.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of fiduciary administration.

Base Pay Range

$81,400/yr - $118,000/yr Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
