Job summary

TPI Global Solutions seeks a Senior Trial Attorney to join its Tennessee-based litigation team. This full-time, exempt role offers in-person, hybrid, or fully remote work options.

You will independently manage complex civil litigation from inception through resolution, collaborating with claims professionals and insured clients to achieve strategic outcomes. Excellent advocacy, leadership, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Bar admission required.
• Georgia Bar admission strongly preferred, but not required.
• Strong litigation experience; trial experience preferred.
• Experience with motions, depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other advocacy.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, organization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, understandable language.
• Strong legal research and investigative capabilities.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Lexis/Westlaw, email, and calendar systems.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Knowledge of property & casualty insurance principles is a plus.
• Willingness to stretch into areas such as employment and professional liability matters.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage moderate- to high-exposure litigation matters from inception through dismissal, settlement, or trial.
• Represent and advise insured clients and claims professionals.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and provide strategic recommendations on case evaluation.
• Handle motion practice, legal research, investigation, and case preparation.
• Participate in case roundtables and trial-readiness discussions.
• May independently conduct trials.
• Mentor and support less-experienced attorneys and legal staff.

We’re looking for an attorney who can independently manage complex civil litigation from inception through resolution while partnering closely with claims professionals and insured clients to achieve strategic, cost-effective outcomes.
