• Responsible for processing and issuing standby letters of credit and corporate guarantees. This includes communicating with selected banks and business units, reviewing text for acceptability, ensuring timely issuance, and accurately recording the issued letters or credits.
• Ability to quickly learn in‑house systems, utilize them, and train others.
• Manage the in‑house system, including user set‑up and password resets.
• Payment of bank invoices.
• Processing requests for corporate guarantees includes review of the text with counsel, issuing the documents, and accurately recording them. Manage the in‑house system, including user set‑up and password resets.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of standby letter of credit experience with bank operations or with a corporation that is a frequent issuer of standby letters or credits.
• Solid understanding of standby letters of credit and the issuance process.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize work in a high‑pressure environment.
• Tremendous attention to detail. Accuracy is of utmost importance.
• Strong written communication skills.
