Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager in the Canonsburg, PA area to lead highway and bridge design projects across Pennsylvania. The role offers a hybrid schedule and relocation assistance. You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and client communications from proposal through project closeout.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of transportation design and PM experience, and a PE or EIT near licensure, with DOT experience and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 10+ years transportation design engineering and project management experience.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) nearing licensure.
• Demonstrated DOT experience.
• Client relationship and business development experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new business with existing and prospective clients.
• Lead mid-to-large-scale transportation projects from setup through planning, safety analysis, and kickoff.
• Manage project budgets, scope, schedule, and staffing.
• Lead design strategy and collaborate with teams, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and closeout.
• Prepare project proposals and serve as primary client contact.
• Navigate and implement public processes and municipal approvals.
• Represent firm in professional organizations, business boards, and community activities.
