Responsibilities
Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for securely transporting detainees and ensuring vehicle safety and maintenance. Your tasks include:

  • Assisting management with transportation issues and developing solutions.
  • Reviewing vehicle inspection reports and summarizing for management.
  • Ensuring all permits and licenses are in order.
  • Checking safety equipment before trips and reporting issues.
  • Tracking DOT HOS on Electronic Logging Devices.
  • Participating in interviewing and screening Transport Officers.
  • Reviewing paperwork and reports as per policies.
  • Ensuring safety measures during transportation meet or exceed standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

If you enjoy working with diverse groups, have a cooperative spirit, and are comfortable with software, apply if you meet the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Valid Class B or C CDL with Passenger endorsement within 90 days.
  • 80 hours of verified driver’s training.
  • State Firearms and Security Guard Licenses.
  • Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
  • Clean driving record with no recent violations or suspensions.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
  • Ability to work overtime, travel, and handle physical and mental stress.
  • Ability to work extended hours and in extreme temperatures.

Additional physical abilities include lifting up to 60 lbs, reaching, working with machinery, and mobility in various physical conditions.
