Acrisure is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant with Transportation experience to join our growing team in Schaumburg, IL. This role acts as a strategic partner and risk advisor, analyzing claims data to improve client policies and overall risk management with senior-level service.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, 7+ years in claims processing/analysis/advisement, and a large Transportation claims background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for claims management, risk clarity, and advisory services.

• Conduct face-to-face client claim reviews and quarterly strategy meetings.
• Design and implement claims-specific training as needed.
• Oversee claims processing, management and prevention for clients.
• Liaise between insurance company and insured in responding to inquiries.
• Advise Account Managers and Client Advisors on claims status and opportunities.

Job Summary:

Acrisure is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant with Transportation experience to join our growing team. This role is a strategic partner and risk advisor for all clients and service teams through a high level of service and analysis of claims data that helps shape client policies and procedures to improve overall risk management. Proactively works toward achieving organization and team goals.

Responsibilities:

• Functions as subject matter expert for claims management, risk clarity, and advisory services
• Facilitates risk management policy changes for pre & post loss processes including but not limited to:
• Conducts face to face client claim reviews and quarterly strategy meetings
• Designs and implements claims specific training as needed
• Responsible for the overall oversight of claims processing, management and prevention for clients
• Acts as liaison between insurance company and insured in responding to inquiries
• Acts as a mediator when disagreements arise, providing follow-up with both company and insured
• Proactively advises Account Managers (AM) and Account Executives (AE) and Client Advisors regarding claims with special attention to the status of open files
• Serves as the expert to service teams and clients on claims related topics through training initiatives and publications
• Responds to customer telephone calls and office visits in a timely and professional manner
• Maintains strict confidentiality and upholds applicable laws at all times
• Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with team members and clients
• Corresponds with clients, prospects, and others in a professional manner
• Works to utilize the resources available such as Marketing Material, Employee Relations, Safety, Risk Management, and Process Improvement

Requirements:

• Willingness to participate in self-development or technical classes
• Strong organizational and workflow management skills
• Must be comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 7 years’ claims processing/analysis/advisement experience preferred
• Large Transportation claims background is critical to success in this role

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
