Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a training professional to design and deliver education for field teams on CRM products, therapies, and procedures. You will partner with Sales, Medical Education, and Marketing to build engaging in-person and virtual programs and create digital training content aligned with priorities.

The role supports global education with up to 40% travel, and requires extensive experience in curriculum design and technical content development within healthcare.

  • Experience working with technical content and synthesizing key learnings into training content.
  • Ability to collaborate with Sales, Medical Education and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and continuous improvement of training programs and events for field employees on Medtronic CRM products, therapies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Medical Education, and Marketing to create interactive training for in-person and virtual settings.
  • Deliver classroom, lab, or web-based technical product and procedure instruction.
  • Develop and maintain digital education content aligned with field priorities.
  • Identify gaps and implement programs to address Medtronic technology and therapy gaps.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead the development and continuous improvementoftrainingprogramsand eventsforfield employees on Medtronic CRM products, therapies,and procedures, primarilywiththeCardiovascularDiagnostics &Services (CDS)andDefibrillation Solutions (DS) business
  • CollaboratewithSalesLeaders, Medical Education,and Marketing tocreateinteractive and purposefultraining programs, tailored for bothin-person and virtual settings
  • Deliver classroom, lab,or web-based technical product and procedure instruction
  • Develop &maintaindigital education contentthat aligns with field priorities
  • Identifygaps in content and Medtronic technology & therapyanddevelopand implement programs toaddress these gaps
  • Partnerwith field teams tosupport local education and develop programs and content to meet those needs
  • Engage in continuous learning to be a reliable, trusted resource ofaccurate, up-to-date knowledge, focusing on adult education curriculum design and delivery methods
  • Navigate the content/document review and approval process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
  • Maintain project management tracking for program activities relevant to compliance,logistics, budget, and metrics
  • Demonstrate willingness to build andmaintainpositive relationships with a diverse set of peers and colleagues across organizational levels to include Sales and global business partners
  • Work with global regions toidentifyneeds and help enable localization of education
  • Ability to travelup toapproximately40%

Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience (OR Associate's Degree with 7+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 5+ years experience).
  • Experience designing training curriculum to achieve organizational goals andidentifyingtraining gaps
  • Experience working with technical content and synthesizingkey learnings into training content

Nice To Have:

  • Experience designing online learning in a variety of modalities including classroom, synchronous and asynchronous, microlearning, and digital job aids
  • Experience working on multiple, simultaneous projects that require both strategic thinking and high-speed tactical execution
  • International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Certification(IBHREAPorEP)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and learning principles

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$87,200.00 - $130,800.00
