Responsibilities

The Title Agent, under supervision, possesses excellent knowledge of all right of way disciplines, title, permitting, and documentation, with a strong understanding of property valuation, survey drawings, and alignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist ROW Supervisor in guiding ROW Agents.
• Secure permission to access properties from landowners and tenants.
• Negotiate ROW options, easements, fee interests, and curative documents, maintaining policy compliance.
• Maintain detailed contact diaries and weekly activity reports.
• Log all payments and negotiate damage settlements as needed.
• Support construction activities and document all ROW activities.
• Follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

Education: Associates Degree preferred or relevant experience.

Experience & Skills: Experience as a title agent or related role, research land ownership, proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of land description and rights, problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and experience with land measurement conversions.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, good judgment in physical tasks, and visual acuity for computer work. Ability to work in office and field environments, with travel as required.

Compensation

Salary range: USD $75,400 - $78,000/year. Potential for bonuses based on performance.
