Job Description:

As a Sr. Test Technician at Meyers Manx, you will be crucial in developing our dune buggies, focusing on durability, reliability, and validation. Join our team to lead in designing, engineering, and developing the next generation of Meyers Manx vehicles.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Support onsite and remote testing activities, including:
• Gathering test logs and data for diagnostics
• Performing in-vehicle duplication or repeatability tests
• Remote teardown, repair, and modification of vehicle components
• Transport vehicles, equipment, and tools between test sites
• Travel up to 50%, domestic and international
• Vehicle commissioning and maintenance:
• End-of-line suitability tests
• Roadworthiness evaluations
• Modifying vehicles and components for testing
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair test fleet
• Manage vehicle instrumentation systems:
• Install sensors, wiring, and sampling devices
• Build wiring, fixtures, and test rigs
• Troubleshoot data acquisition systems

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in engineering or R&D in OEM or Tier 1 supplier
• Certification in high voltage system repair
• Proficiency in AC/DC electrical fundamentals
• Experience with hand tools, wiring, and vehicle networks
• Knowledge of electric vehicle sensors and components
• Experience with automotive testing systems
• Proving ground and on-road experience
• Strong communication skills
• Valid US driver's license and clean record
• Willing to travel up to 50%

Preferred Requirements:

• ASE Certification
• Class-C commercial license
• 8+ years in similar roles in automotive or motorsport
• Experience with off-road vehicle development and validation
• Familiarity with Vector, ETAS, Peak, Kvaser CAN tools
• Experience with Dewesoft, LabVIEW, dSPACE systems
