Frontier Community Credit Union is seeking a Sr. Teller to serve members at the Leavenworth location. The role involves handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and check cashing with exceptional service while maintaining privacy of member information.
Responsibilities include cross-selling credit union products, mentoring tellers, balancing cash, and supporting the Teller/Branch Manager. Requires a high school diploma or GED and up to six months of related experience.

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and state and federal regulations, provides timely and courteous service to credit union members, including, but not limited to: general account information, account transactions, cross-selling credit union products and services, and maintenance and routine to complex problem resolution. Work involves constant, direct interaction with credit union members and potential members and requires the ability to accurately record information and communicate effectively. Ensures smooth teller-area operations, workflow, and tasks. Mentors other tellers and assists the Teller Manager and Branch Manager.
Up to six months of similar or related experience.
A high school education or GED.
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization, as well as to members, vendors and other external persons. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry for efficient balancing. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the capability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to learn and operate the credit union's core system. Ability to operate standard office equipment and tools, such as personal computer, postage
machine, fax machine, scanner, telephone and photocopier.
