The good-faith pay range for this role is $68,500 - $98,100 per year. Actual compensation may vary and may be above the posted range based on factors such as a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location.

Company-provided relocation assistance will not be offered for this position.

What your job will be like:

Design components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. Gather information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal. Coordinate design criteria with engineering, physics, accelerator, and other relevant groups as appropriate.

In this job you will:

• Convert concepts and ideas into working assemblies and systems with independent thinking.
• Produce accurate, simple and cost effective fabrication documentation (3D modeling, assembly and orthogonal drawings) using Siemens NX CAD software and Teamcenter PDM.

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow projects through purchasing, fabrication and installation.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Experience

• Required: 9 or more years Relevant experience
• Preferred: experience in machining and/or metal fabrication

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or GED

• Intermediate skills, knowledge and ability in other technologies.
• Significant latitude in prioritizing and choosing work methods.
• Extensive knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software and data management systems.
• Able to effectively communicate with a variety of disciplines both verbally and in writing.
