Job summary

Magna Steyr in Novi, Michigan seeks an experienced machinist to fabricate and assemble prototype components, fixtures, and tooling. You will operate CNC mills, lathes, laser tables, and press brakes, performing MIG/TIG welding and various finishing tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical certification and 5+ years in machining, fabrication, welding, and CNC operations. A valid driver's license is required; forklift experience and welding certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in MIG/TIG welding, blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measuring tools.
• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, laser tables, press brakes, and related fabrication equipment.

• Support prototype development and collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet timelines.
