As a Senior Technical Sourcer, you won’t just fill seats; you will partner with hiring managers to scale teams across a high-stakes, fast-moving landscape. You will navigate the complexity of multiple business lines, using data to influence senior stakeholders and unblock hiring bottlenecks.

What you’ll do

• Build and execute targeted sourcing strategies by applying a deep understanding of talent distribution and market mapping.
• Lead data-driven conversations with senior leaders, translating complex hiring metrics into actionable narratives that influence direction.
• Navigate the messiness of competing priorities and shifting business needs to scale technical teams across North America.
• Actively advocate for candidates by aligning their unique motivations and skills with team missions and Uber’s broader business strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiters and hiring managers to troubleshoot the assessment process and remove friction points.
• Champion a high-quality candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects a commitment to excellence even when the pace is intense.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in sourcing and recruiting.
• Experience in technical sourcing within a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing specifically focused on high-level engineering roles.
• Proven ability to use funnel data and market insights to drive strategic hiring decisions.
• Experience in building diverse candidate pipelines and fostering an inclusive workforce.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate high-ambiguity situations with resilience.

For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $122,000 per year - USD $135,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $122,000 per year - USD $135,000 per year.

For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $110,000 per year - USD $122,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
