Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to lead Scrum and Kanban teams, create project plans, and report status to executives. You will coordinate software releases and ensure delivery quality on complex strategic initiatives.

The role requires strong Agile experience, stakeholder management, and ability to drive timely outcomes, while mentoring teams and coordinating with Product Owners and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 1.5 years of Project Management experience with knowledge of project management discipline, methodology and tools.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with knowledge of Agile framework using scrum and kanban team methodologies.
• Experience: 5 years of project management, 3 years in Agile framework.
• 1.6+ years project management and agile work experience.
• Ability to build effective and productive relationships with both clients and internal resources.
• Ability to communicate and proactively manage project status, milestones, risks and mitigation plans, and issues to project stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence, Smartsheets, MS tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and team to ensure the product backlog is well-maintained and prioritized.
• Agile process facilitation: ensure that the Agile framework is understood and applied correctly by the team.

• Monitor the project scope to prevent scope creep and make necessary adjustments.

Sr. Technical Project Manager

• This person will take initiative, lead Scrum and Kanban teams, create project plans and report project status to myself and executives, and coordinate software releases.
• As a Technical Project Manager/Sr Technical Project Manager, candidate will support our technology projects. This role is responsible for the successful execution of complex strategic projects using Agile frameworks. These engagements involve communication with senior leadership, across multiple divisions and broad scope and is accountable for ensuring the highest quality delivery with emphasis on meeting product/platform deadlines and goals.

Job Functions

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 a year
