Summary

As a Sr. Technical Project Lead, you will lead complex HL7 integrations across EHRs, hospitals, State Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), and third-party data partners, expanding and supporting connectivity across our nationwide healthcare network.

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful implementations and ensure alignment across technical requirements, business objectives, project scope, and delivery timelines. Your work will be crucial in enhancing interoperability, strengthening the exchange of real-time, actionable patient care events, and advancing data-sharing capabilities across the healthcare ecosystem. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with Engineering, Growth, Account Management, Implementation, Product, and Support.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the technical implementation of Bamboo Health HL7 product offerings for healthcare entities, executing test plans, analyzing message structure and data quality, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with Engineering and external partners through production launch
  • Function as a subject matter expert on specifications across customers segments ensuring that all technical and business requirements are met during the integration process
  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise on Bamboo Health’s products as team expertise evolves.
  • Serve as the Technical Account Manager for assigned Tier 1 accounts, providing ongoing oversight of complex integrations, proactive communication of technical risks, and resolution of integration issues.

  • Proactively identify implementation risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement, partnering with technical teams to develop scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Address high-priority customer escalations, applying SQL-based data analysis to identify root causes and guide internal and external stakeholders toward resolution
  • Use AI and automation tools to accelerate documentation, status reporting, and other administrative work, and surface new use cases as they emerge (e.g., summarization, task routing, or data parsing).
  • Stay curious about emerging AI tools and how they can streamline or enhance work within your function.
In 3 months…
  • Develop a strong understanding of Bamboo Health products, integration workflows, and HL7 onboarding processes.
  • Support active implementations through mapping, testing, validation, and issue resolution activities.
  • Build relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Begin incorporating AI-supported tools into your day-to-day work—whether through analysis, documentation, or task management.
In 6 months…
  • Independently manage technical implementation phases of integration projects, ensuring that Bamboo Health’s integration requirements are met and project documentation is accurate
  • Provide subject matter expertise to key stakeholders on integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange
  • Assume Technical Account Manager ownership for assigned Tier 1 accounts, serving as a trusted technical resource for customers, HIE partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Technical Services quality initiatives, including the development, tracking, and reporting of key performance and data-quality metrics.
In 12 months…
  • Manage complex implementation projects through delivery, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen technical partnerships and improve processes leading to quality outcomes
  • Serve as a trusted Technical Account Manager and HL7 subject matter expert for Tier 1 accounts, proactively managing integration health and technical escalations
  • Drive improvements across Technical HL7 Services by leveraging quality metrics and integration trends to identify opportunities for greater data quality, efficiency, scalability, and standardization
What You Need

  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence) for project management, team collaboration, and knowledge sharing
  • Proficiency with Salesforce products is a plus
