Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager for the Central Engineering – Robotics & Innovation team to drive end-to-end lifecycle of robotics and automation programs across AMZL delivery stations. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning hardware, software, controls, and operations to deploy integrated robotic solutions at scale.
You will develop pilot criteria, deploy detailed plans validated by simulations, and present business cases to senior leadership.
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is on a mission to build the most advanced last-mile delivery network in the world. Our Central Engineering – Robotics & Innovation team is at the forefront of this transformation, developing and deploying automation and robotic systems that power delivery stations across North America and beyond. Our objective is to fully automate our Delivery Stations, achieving zero-touch unit-to-recipient (UTR) operations end-to-end.
We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and customer‑obsessed Technical Program Manager to drive the end‑to‑end lifecycle of robotics and automation programs — from early ideation and concept validation through large‑scale field deployment and performance ramp‑up. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role that combines strategic program leadership with deep technical engagement across robotics, mechatronics, controls, and software disciplines.
If you thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and want to make a measurable difference in how Amazon delivers to customers — come help us make history.
Your day could start with a technical design review for a robotic induction system being piloted at in delivery station, shift to a vendor alignment call on a mechatronics integration timeline, and end with drafting a VP‑level narrative on program status for a quarterly business review. You are the connective tissue between the engineers building the future of AMZL and the operators running it today - making sure what we invent actually works at Amazon scale, safely and reliably.
It's always Day 1.
The Robotics and Innovation team within AMZL Central Engineering develops and deploys automation solutions that drive our objective of fully automated, zero‑touch unit‑to‑recipient (UTR) delivery‑station operations, eliminating manual risk and unlocking throughput at scale. We are part of the Worldwide (WW) AMZL team, partnering closely with peer Robotics and Innovation organizations across geographies to share technology, standards, and best practices.
We are a set of diverse individuals who work coherently to solve customer problems with the most innovative solutions. We put heavy emphasis on empowering our employees to maintain work life harmony. The team works with innovative technologies in the market to bring into AMZL to solve complex technical problems. It is a fine balance between working on writing strategic business cases to understanding the deep human machine interfaces.
