Amazon in Redmond is looking for a Program Manager in their Optical Inter-Satellite Link team. This role involves leading strategic initiatives and managing complex stakeholder relationships to ensure timely delivery of satellite communication milestones. Role in Optical Inter-Satellite Link (OISL) team within Amazon's Leo organization
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
In this role, you’ll start your day reviewing program metrics across the OISL portfolio using Confluence, Jira, and Smartsheet dashboards tracking 35–70 KPIs. You’ll partner closely with finance (where this role has been recognized as “best business partner for finance”), engineering leads, and senior Amazon Leo leadership to resolve cross‑project resource conflicts and drive decisions on yellow/red items. Throughout the week, you’ll coordinate across multiple hardware development projects, manage dependencies, guide OP1 planning, and ensure alignment between OISL and the broader Amazon Leo organization. Your internal stakeholders include OISL Project Leadership, Leo LT (VP‑level), finance partners, and the Amazon Leo equipment group. The problems you’ll solve range from strategic resource allocation across parallel satellite programs to ensuring on‑time delivery of optical communication hardware for Amazon Leo’s constellation.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
