Overview

This role sits within the KFC US Digital & Technology team, supporting the "Saucy by KFC" initiative. The Program Manager is responsible for managing the planning, coordination, and delivery of integrations, hardware, and restaurant applications that power Saucy. The role serves as a liaison to the KFC US Engineering team and the Saucy organization, ensuring alignment with engineering, platform strategy, and product execution across KFC’s digital portfolio and BYTE by YUM.

Job Responsibilities
Product Direction (60%)
  • Maintain and visualize a product roadmap for employee‑facing restaurant systems and integrations, focusing on future‑forward innovation through Saucy by KFC.
  • Maintain and visualize a product roadmap for customer‑facing systems and integrations, focusing on future‑forward innovation through Saucy by KFC.
  • Plan and manage activities to achieve the goals of setting up and maintaining restaurant technology and digital applications.
  • Groom and maintain the backlog, prioritize development efforts, and clarify requirements.
  • Work with internal partners to advocate for enhancements and bug fixes to our solutions.
  • Act as a liaison to the KFC US Engineering team to ensure business needs are translated into technical requirements and that Saucy‑aligned integration efforts are on track.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to align priorities, technical design, and roadmap execution.
  • Ensure all integration development supports Saucy platform objectives and standards and aligns with KFC US and BYTE by YUM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other development groups to ensure product fit within the broader solution portfolio.
Release & Project Management (20%)
  • Build and maintain the project plan for integration solutions within the release cycle.
  • Coordinate with solution partners to plan releases and upgrades.
  • Work with business stakeholders to determine appropriate release timing.
  • Assist with QA and validation as needed.
  • Facilitate alignment between Saucy engineering teams, KFC US architects, and internal stakeholders for joint planning and prioritization.
  • Manage dependencies across engineering pods and external vendors.
Rollout Planning (20%)
  • Assist hardware, OS, and MDM services teams in planning device purchases and installation timing.
  • Collaborate with the digital platform team to ensure full alignment of upcoming projects and releases.
  • Coordinate with internal and vendor teams to manage rollout schedules.
  • Support Saucy engineering and deployment teams to validate release readiness and monitor rollout success.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
  • 4–5 years of Technical Product Owner experience.
  • 4–5 years of Program Management experience.
  • 1–2 years of Project Management experience.
  • 1–2 years of manual QA testing experience.
  • 2 years of technical document writing experience.
Tools
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft DevOps.
Salary Range

$118,600 – $139,400
