Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large Data Lake/Data Lakehouse initiatives and govern data governance, architecture, and security. You will report to CIOs and sponsors, driving structured, metric-driven programs in a state or government environment.

Role requires hands-on Databricks, Mainframe data integration, and Virtual ODS implementations, with proven executive-level reporting and cross-functional leadership.

Formación

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Technical Project Management, with at least 4+ years leading large or complex IT initiatives.
• Proven experience managing Data Lake and Data Lakehouse projects as the primary responsibility.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Mainframe data integration, and Virtual ODS (Operational Data Store) implementations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and information systems security.
• Experience delivering projects within a State or Government environment.
• Expertise running highly structured, metric-driven projects (not Agile-focused).
• Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and present executive status reports to CIOs, sponsors, and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance, architecture, and security controls are integrated into projects.
• Manage IT initiatives within state/government environments with structured, metric-driven approaches.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain rigorous project tracking and governance.
