• Fill in for supervisor or team members as needed.

Job Purpose

Under general supervision, supervises and coordinates the activities of the Receiving Department. Performs work of those supervised, as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure compliance of safety procedures and policies and maintain housekeeping standards with the understanding that safety is our #1 priority.
• Plan and coordinate the activities of inbound associates to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Identify areas for improvement/change, involve associates in the improvement/change process, and monitor the effectiveness of the improvement/change.
• Oversee activities through the planning and scheduling of work, and the review and approval of tasks.
• Review associates' work assignments and performance development.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Need to understand and be able to perform and/or guide employees through any task required.
• Need certification on both sit down and stand-up forklifts.
• Need full knowledge of the RF gun and all options for Receiving.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Train new team members on forklift operations.
• Fill in for supervisor in their absents.
• Fill in for team members when absent.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience

• Available and willing to work any shift
• Able to work in a fast-paced multiple task environment
• Must be understand in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access skills.)
• Must be a Team Player with excellent people skills.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Must be willing to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.
• Must get to understand High Jump and SAP. (training provided)
