As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in attracting and hiring top talent across a variety of areas—including contact centers, consumer sales, administrative, operational, and professional roles. Responsibilities
- Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment: Drive full-cycle recruiting for technical, managerial, and professional roles, working closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop customized recruitment plans.
- Build Strong Relationships: Partner closely with hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of their staffing needs, ensuring alignment throughout the recruitment process.
- Consult on Best Practices: Advise hiring managers on recruitment practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance within an Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) organization.
- Develop Targeted Job Descriptions: Collaborate with hiring managers to update job descriptions and craft compelling job postings that attract top talent in competitive markets.
- Create Screening & Interview Tools: Partner with hiring managers to design effective screening methods and interview techniques, setting clear criteria to identify the best candidates.
- Conduct Interviews: Lead phone screens and interviews, building rapport with candidates and assessing their qualifications to recommend top talent to hiring managers.
- Manage Applicant Tracking: Maintain requisitions and all candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure a seamless, compliant recruitment process.
- Lead Recruitment Projects: Take the lead on recruitment team projects and processes that support overall talent management, including attraction, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or 4+ years professional work experience.
- 1+ year full-lifecycle recruiting experience in an affirmative action organization.
Other Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of recruitment processes as well as demonstrated sourcing, networking, screening and interviewing skills.
- Ability to take ownership of the selection process and successfully manage a high-volume workload.
- Knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and a proven track record of innovative recruiting initiatives and campaigns.
- Knowledge of up-to-date Human Resource policies, laws, and regulations and the ability to apply them consistently.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and applicants.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience with SAP and ATS is helpful; PHR certification a plus.
- Must be available for some travel.
