Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Sr. Tactical Operations and Air (Weapons Specialist) to support development, integration, and test of advanced weapons systems at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The role emphasizes SME-level expertise in sensor ops, C2, UAV operations, and avionics within a warfighter environment.

The ideal candidate has 12 years of related experience, holds TOP SECRET clearance, and can lead project teams, develop procedures, and resolve complex problems in fast-paced programs.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description.
• Applies Subject Matter Expertise (SME) from experience as a military specialist towards the research, development, evaluation, and warfighter environment integration of weapons systems.
• Typical areas of expertise include sensor system operation, command and control, communications, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operation, avionics, warfare tactics and air-vehicle maintenance operation.
• Duties include supporting the development and refinement of system requirements, system development support, simulation development and validation support, system operation support, test and evaluation of developed systems, and flight/ground test event support.
• KEY PERSONNEL ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Acts as a team leader, developing procedures, managing project efforts, and taking the lead in problem resolution.
