Job summary

A leading IT staffing firm is seeking a candidate proficient in complex ERD data models and skilled in translating large datasets into Tableau segments. Experience with Hadoop and AWS is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the capability to handle massive datasets, as well as be familiar with Tableau best practices. A successful background check and drug screen is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with very complex ERD data models.
• Ability to translate large data sets into Tableau segments.
• Experience with datasets of at least 1 billion rows.
• Understanding of Hadoop and AWS.
• Back-end experience with Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server (at least one).
• Server-side experience with setting up servers.
• Knowledge of Tableau best practices in client/server setup.
• Ability to design performant solutions.

Must Have:

• Need experience with very complex ERD data models
• Be able to translate into Tableau segments from large data joined datasets
• Largest dataset ever worked with: 1 billion rows
• Understanding of Hadoop/Hadoop clusters
• Understanding of AWS
• Experience on back-end Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server (at least one, with massive size)
• Server side experience with setting up server
• Knows Tableau best practices in client and server setup. (may be guided by Tableau)
• Must know how to come up with a performant solution
