Job Title: Sr. Systems Integrator (DoD Tactical Networks)

Job Location: Joint Base Lewis - McChord, WA or Tacoma, WA

Job Type: Full time 40 hours

Travel Requirement: Up to 25%

Job Description:

Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Integrator. This position focuses on identifying and resolving capability gaps within Army Tactical operations by leveraging advanced technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of military operations and technical expertise. Strong leadership skills are required to guide cross-functional teams in developing and implementing mission-critical solutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage meetings with vendors and third-party program offices, including note-taking and stakeholder communication.
  2. Support program office fielding synchronization and integration.
  3. Assist with acquisition management for the program.
  4. Stay updated on military, government, and commercial technologies related to C4ISR to support customer needs.
  5. Support integration of new equipment with existing systems for demonstrations and testing.
  6. Assist in developing specifications and standards for new equipment among vendors and the program office.
  7. Conduct training on new equipment and provide context on its use and capabilities.
  8. Train and integrate systems like ATAK, WinTAK, TAK Server, and CIVTAK.
  9. Configure tactical radios and manage MANET networks.
  10. Identify discrepancies, anomalies, and defects in evaluated products.
  11. Communicate effectively through strong written and verbal skills.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role with hands-on systems integration experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of network architectures and hardware configurations.
  3. Experience with Linux and server system administration.
  4. Military experience or in-depth knowledge of TTPs.
  5. Problem-solving skills for system and network design issues.
  6. Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
  7. Ability to prepare detailed technical documentation.
  8. Familiarity with RDT&E processes across government organizations.
  9. Experience with government procurement procedures.
  10. U.S. citizen with ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Preferred Experience:
  1. B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience in IT fields.
  2. Experience with Special Operations Forces (SOF) is a plus.
  3. Experience configuring tactical radios such as PRC-148C, MPU-5, etc.
  4. Experience with routers, switches, and network bridging.
  5. Knowledge of satellite and cellular systems.
  6. Ability to manage security certificates and understand audio/video standards.
