Job summary

VTG is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to deliver comprehensive SE&I support for complex intelligence community programs. You will lead requirements management, architecture development, and configuration management across multiple stakeholder groups.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in systems engineering, 5+ years IC SE experience, and an active TS/SCI with poly. DoD acquisition experience and CE certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Intelligence Community systems engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly.
• Demonstrated experience with systems engineering standards and methodologies.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
• System Engineering Certification (INCOSE, ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP).
• DoD acquisition or operations experience.
• Experience with supply chain management or facility infrastructure programs.
• NRO or IC operational systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle systems engineering activities including requirements management, configuration management, and architecture development.
• Support risk management processes and maintain technical documentation.
• Facilitate change management processes and coordinate requirements across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Develop system architectures and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
• Provide technical analysis and develop reports for program leadership.
• Support working groups, integrated product teams, and technical review boards.
• Develop briefing materials and present technical assessments to senior leadership.
• Conduct systems engineering studies and provide status updates to stakeholders.

• Masters Degree in technical discipline Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $150,000 - $195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
