As a Systems Engineer, you will research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify, and improve cutting-edge products and services. You will develop complex system architectures and lead system-level ownership throughout the product lifecycle.
Sierra Space seeks a Sr Systems Engineer - Program Protection Mission Cyber Lead to join our Defense team. You will lead the development of advanced system solutions in space protection, using MBSE tools to develop requirements, architectures, and concepts of operation.
This role involves developing and implementing program processes to mitigate risks, identifying threats, monitoring space assets, and assessing mission effectiveness. You will support Sierra Space's Defense portfolio, working on space-based infrared surveillance systems.
We seek those who Dare to Dream and meet the following minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret clearance with SCI, experience with MBSE, advanced degrees, and extensive experience with requirements management and system integration.
This position requires an active Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
