Job summary

A&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking highly experienced engineers for an on-site role in Sterling, VA. The team requires active TS/SCI with CI Poly, DoDD 8140 alignment, and robust Linux/COTS expertise to design and operate Citrix-based VDI environments.

You will deploy, configure, and optimize CVAD stacks, manage provisioning with PVS/MCS, and ensure secure, scalable delivery across cloud resources using FSLogix and IDAM tooling. Collaboration with government and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of relevant experience with a STEM degree required.
• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly is mandatory; DoDD 8140 security baseline preferred.
• Linux platform expertise and cloud-based COTS applications required.
• 5+ years hands-on CVAD experience with Citrix components.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in a 100% cloud environment.
• Deploy and configure CVAD components including DControllers, StoreFront, and NetScaler.
• Implement PVS or MCS for desktop image management and provisioning.
• Maintain Citrix infrastructure, VDAs, hypervisors, and storage systems.
• Optimize VDI performance through monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning.
• Configure FSLogix user profiles and support cross-functional teams.

Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required. On-site position. Must have Sec+ or better. Contingent upon contract. Two (2) engineers needed.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

We are actively seeking candidates with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field is required. Specific skills include the following:

• Possess a minimum of Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly (FS Poly works too)
• At a minimum, meet DoDD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
• Expertise working with Linux platforms and COTS applications in Linux cloud environments
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) infrastructure in a 100% Cloud environment
• Deploy and configure Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, NetScaler/ADC, and supporting components
• Implement Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) or Machine Creation Services (MCS) for desktop image management
• Manage and maintain Citrix infrastructure including Virtual Delivery Agents (VDAs), hypervisors, and storage systems
• Optimize VDI performance through monitoring, capacity planning, and resource allocation
• Configure and manage user profiles using FSLogix
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the VDI stack
• Provide platform and infrastructure technical services and technical expertise in systems, technical infrastructure, tools, modeling, external interfaces, and other technical areas
• Complete complex design, configuration and deployment of platform infrastructure and applications in a cloud-based environment ensuring performant environments
• Maintain COTS applications in a cloud-based environment
• Work with internal engineering resources as well as customer end-users to design and enhance the user interfaces for supported applications, maintaining responsive designs that accommodate challenging technical and functional requirements
• Support operations functions, including root cause identification, remediation and documentation (e.g., user guides, ‘how to’ guides, infrastructure diagrams)
• Work closely with clients and cross-functional departments on technical issues including software system troubleshooting and maintenance and to communicate project statuses
• Prepare comprehensive test plans, test new features, services, and fix bugs
• Configure IdAM, Active Directory, LDAP resources with platform and applications
• Prepare technical presentations for government and senior leadership
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Work across infrastructure that contains both Linux and Windows
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical, management and customer both written and verbally
• Utilize robust troubleshooting skills
• Instill and apply solid engineering rigor, to include configuration management, testing
• Develop/engineer as part of an Agile scrum team
