Overview:

This is a hands-on technical position requiring a strong foundation in identity and access controls, endpoint management, and cloud-based tools. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating authentication systems like Okta, two-factor authentication setups, macOS environments, and cloud collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with infrastructure tools across AWS, Azure, and GCP is essential, along with experience managing devices through platforms like JAMF and Google Admin. Proficiency in Zoom (including phone and conferencing) and general networking is also important.

• Ability to handle several projects or initiatives simultaneously, while keeping key stakeholders informed and engaged
• Skilled communicator who can break down technical topics into clear, understandable language
• Self-starter who brings energy and focus to tasks with a strong sense of ownership
• Demonstrated success supporting and managing user-centric IT solutions
• Solid understanding of industry standards, with the ability to work through sophisticated technical challenges
• Works well under pressure and can pivot quickly in a rapidly evolving environment
• In-depth experience with macOS, Chrome OS, Okta, Google Admin Console, Zoom (voice and video), JAMF, and other SaaS-based tools
• Experienced in using device deployment platforms like Apple DEP, JAMF Pro or JAMF Cloud, and Microsoft-based server systems
• Comfortable using ITSM (IT Service Management) platforms to manage tasks and projects

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

• Maintain and support existing endpoint management systems and identity platforms
• Enforce security best practices and conduct regular performance reviews and optimizations
• Build integrations and automate routine processes
• Oversee the full lifecycle of macOS/Linux systems, including setup, maintenance, and retirement
• Assist DevOps and software engineering teams with system-level needs
• Provide high-level technical assistance as a senior escalation point within the IT support team
• Manage email systems including routing, filtering, and mailbox configurations

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Take ownership of complex technical issues, acting as the escalation point for system-level incidents
• Contribute to business continuity planning and ensure site preparedness
• Test and validate data recovery protocols and retention policies

Additional Duties:

• Actively participate in reviewing and improving IT operational workflows
• Assist with ad-hoc technical projects as needed
• Familiarity with eDiscovery tools and techniques, including legal holds and retention management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a tech-related field or equivalent practical experience (7+ years in IT)
• At least five years supporting enterprise-level environments
• Experience managing support across multiple office locations or large geographical areas
