Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Axos Clearing LLC

Target Range:

$100,000.00 /Yr. - $160,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

We are looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our team at Axos Bank to manage our Unix, Linux and VMware administration. This Engineer is part of a collaborative team responsible for managing a variety of infrastructure technologies, including AIX, Red Hat, VMware virtualization.

This position is on-site and located at any of our office locations (San Diego CA, Irvine CA, Los Angeles CA, Las Vegas NV, Centennial CO, Omaha NE, Overland Park KS, or Edison NJ).

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain AIX and Linux operating systems.
• Monitor system and application performance to detect errors and ensure optimal operation.
• Identify, troubleshooting, and resolve system hardware and software issues.
• Implement and manage system security measures to protect data and systems.
• Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and network topology.
• Plan and implement system upgrades, including hardware and software.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other administrators.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a technical or computer-related field of study or equivalent related experience or higher
• 10+ years' experience with AIX, Red Hat, Ubuntu and Windows.
• 10+ years' experience with VMware administration
• 5+ years' experience in managing configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet
• Kubernetes and containerization knowledge is plus
• Committed to providing excellent end user technology support and customer service to staff, business partners, and vendors
• 24x7 responsibility: ability and willingness to be on call, work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
