Job summary

Lockheed Martin’s CommandIQ team in Colorado Springs seeks a Systems Engineer to transform customer needs into roadmap features, document requirements, and develop MBSE models. You will join agile teams, review artifacts, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure architecture and use cases meet mission needs.

Local Colorado Springs/King of Prussia preferred, with potential fully remote work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • MBSE experience with model-based system engineering.
  • Experience defining and documenting system requirements.
  • Experience with use case and CONOPS definition.
  • Familiarity with MBSE artifacts and diagrams.
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Customers can also easily integrate their favorite tools into a single CommandIQ® Common Operating Picture (COP) to meet their own, specialized mission requirements.

The Work

CommandIQ® is seeking a systems engineer to join one of our agile development teams. In this role, you will:

  • Decompose customer/stakeholder needs into higher-level roadmap features
  • Document system requirements
  • Create/refine MBSE models depicting system architecture and system activity/sequence diagrams
  • Perform peer reviews for fellow systems engineers to review SE artifacts
  • Participate in technical discussions to refine system requirements and decompose use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure requirements and customer needs are being met by CommandIQ® technical solutions

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in MBSE (Cameo, Rhapsody)
  • Experience with Requirements Definition and Documentation (DOORS, Jama)
  • Experience with Use Case and Conops definition
  • Experience across the various activities in the Systems Engineering V‑Diagram
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience (Advanced Degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience)
Desired Skills
  • Experience leading requirements elicitation activities
  • Experience participating in Verification and Validation Activities
  • Experience defining Data Models
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
  • Previous IRAD Experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
