We are currently aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Senior Systems Analyst in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business systems needs by working with end-users to create logical specifications for software/hardware solutions addressing moderate to complex business problems.
- Conduct research to develop technical designs and logical functionalities to ensure effective development and implementation of business applications.
- This role does not involve hands-on programming but focuses on analysis, definition, and logical design of hardware/software systems.
- Provide counsel and advice to top management on significant systems analysis matters, often requiring inter-organizational coordination.
- Handle complex issues or large scope assignments under general direction.
- Design and prepare application/system specifications to meet business needs, including testing and installation methods.
- Define system scope and objectives based on user needs.
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering system capacity, limitations, and desired outcomes.
- Prepare detailed specifications for program development.
- Analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes, and assist in application design, testing, and implementation.
- Coordinate activities with other IT sections such as database, telecommunications, and technical support.
- Act as a technical resource for development teams throughout the development and implementation phases.
- Ensure quality assurance and provide thought leadership across disciplines.
- Serve as an internal expert for complex systems analysis tasks.
- Work with business, compliance, and cross-functional IT stakeholders to define a roadmap emphasizing priorities and business value.
- Perform data investigations, track lineage and quality issues, and review data structures.
- Facilitate source business owner review sessions and plan/execute end-to-end, integration, and data quality validations.
- Support production issue and defect resolution.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, product ownership, backlog management, process documentation, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience implementing compliance requirements in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of CMS Interoperability and FHIR standards.
- Experience with Member Right Repository (MRR) and payer solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Logical reasoning and attention to detail.
- Ability to engage stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner and team player.
