Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced EPMS Deployment Specialist to lead field deployments across diverse customer environments. You will install, customize, and integrate EPMS software, perform startup and commissioning, and troubleshoot power monitoring equipment in data centers, healthcare facilities, manufacturing sites, and more.

Responsibilities include training customers, documenting as‑built systems, and collaborating with contractors in dynamic construction settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience including field work.
• Experience with electrical equipment and knowledge of electricity, power generation, distribution, and power quality concepts.
• Proficiency in interpreting contract specifications and electrical drawing packages.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team settings.
• Experience building computers or installing software; experience connecting devices in an industrial environment (Modbus or similar).
• Experience installing virtual machines.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Lead the deployment of EPMS at various customer sites including Data Centers, Health Care Facilities, Manufacturing units, Military/Government facilities, Commercial Buildings, and Universities.
• Collaborate closely with contractors and end-users, engaging in daily interactions within construction environments.
• Undertake EPMS software installation, customization, and integration, along with start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring equipment.
• Provide customer training, conduct device communication troubleshooting, and perform hardware component replacements.
• Consult with customers to define system operation requirements and document the as-built system.
• Travel daily to customer sites within the region with overnight travel potential of up to 75% when business dictates.
• Some 2nd or 3rd shift work possible at times.

Qualifications for Success:

• More than 5 years of professional experience including field work.
• Experience with electrical equipment and knowledge of electricity, power generation, distribution, and power quality concepts.
• Proficiency in interpreting contract specifications and electrical drawing packages.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team settings.
• Must have computer proficiency and ideally experience in the following:
• Experience building computers or installing software
• Experience connecting devices in an industrial environment (ideally using Modbus or similar protocol)
• Experience installing virtual machines
• Stable work history and willingness to travel.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in the US without restriction.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required

Desirable Qualifications:

• A two-year technical degree, with a focus on electrical power systems or electronics, is preferred.
• Experience in Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, Building Automation Systems, Systems Integration, or Energy Management Systems.
• Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols, computer networking architectures, and HMI configuration.
• Understanding or experience with Modbus, Profibus or Bacnet communication protocol is ideal.
• Direct experience with Schneider Electric proprietary software and relevant certifications.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Thisis a non-exempt role and also qualifies for overtime pay.
