Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, seeks a Supply Room Clerk in Chatsworth, GA to manage inventory and support daily tasks. You will order, stock, and maintain parts, set up new items in the system, keep the supply room organized, and perform stock audits to ensure accuracy for multiple departments.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3–6 months in a supply/receiving role, basic math skills, and the ability to work in an industrial

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three to six months receiving/supply room experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• May require use of JD Edwards, SAP, and Microsoft Suite.
• Lift Truck Certification preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order, stock, and maintain parts/supplies.
• Set up new items in the inventory system.
• Keep the Supply Room organized and labeled.
• Conduct routine stock audits to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve issues with Purchasing/Vendors.
• Manage Purchase Orders and requisitions.
• Maintain spare motors for production needs.
• Provide direction to Supply Room Clerks.
• Handle radio inventory and repairs.
• Service supplies/parts for multiple departments.
• Receive and organize deliveries from vendors.
• Enter data and issue supplies/stock to departments.
• Reorder supplies based on demand.
• Audit off-shift personnel's supply room usage.
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow established SOPs and safety procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping and other tasks as assigned.

What We Need

Manage a facility's supply room function ensuring enough inventory is readily available to execute various day-to-day tasks and ensures existing inventories are replenished as needed.

What You'll Do

• Order, stock, and maintain parts/supplies
• Set up new items in the inventory system
• Keep the Supply Room organized and labeled

What You Have

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Lift Truck Certification preferred
• Successful completion of all required on the job training
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
• May be required to use department specific database systems such as: JD Edwards, SAP, Microsoft Suite
• Three to six months receiving/supply room experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Manufacturing experienced preferred
