Memorial Hospital- Belleville is seeking a Sr. Supply Distribution Technician to assist with supply and linen distribution.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-3 PM

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Oversees daily management of medical materials (supplies, equipment, and linen) across multiple departments. Responsibilities include cleaning and organizing supply rooms and warehouses, providing customer service, reviewing par levels and usage with department leaders, optimizing bins, ordering, receiving, stocking, and assisting with recall notifications and investigations. Supports training and development of new Supply Technicians. Senior Supply Techs are expected to perform all core competencies and assist in mentoring other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Apply lean supply principles and perform basic analytics using Microsoft tools and supply chain management systems.
• Handle material receiving, verify items and quantities, process receipts, label, stage items for delivery, and manage inventory records.
• Review reports, collaborate with staff to adjust par levels, identify improvements, maintain standardized supply models, and assist with JIT audits.
• Process orders, resolve issues with procurement, handle RTVs, discrepancies, recalls, and vendor returns.
• Oversee daily material functions, ensure safety compliance with BJC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards, and maintain supply room cleanliness.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience: None required

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree in Management or Logistics

Preferred Experience: 5-10 years

Preferred Supervisor Experience: Less than 2 years
