Job description

Leads overall solution development as the key interface with Sales, Engineering/Operations, Technology, and other internal resources to align deliverables with overall project goals throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Functions

  • Design, develop, and implement supply chain solutions in support of internal/external customers and/or corporate initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations that support the sales process and improve the organization's ability to differentiate and add value to the overall solution and sales strategy for both new and existing customers.
  • Provide supply chain improvement recommendations by evaluating the customer supply chain network, applying fact-based analysis and knowledge in transportation modes (parcel, LTL/TL, air freight, ocean, rail) and global shipping requirements.
  • Evaluate customer business needs and industry insights to establish high-level strategies for executing supply chain improvements, utilizing Quality tools and processes.
  • Lead multiple complex assignments concurrently, working individually and/or leading peer/cross-functional teams with internal/external customer interactions.
  • Lead brainstorming and review sessions to develop recommendations, ensuring industry best practices and methods are applied. Mentor and guide less senior team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in quantitative business or a related field.

Minimum of five (5) years of business experience in a supply chain-related field, including designing, maintaining, and/or implementing solutions to complex business situations. An advanced degree may offset experience requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to project manage and work on multiple assignments concurrently. Strong presentation skills for solutions to customers and leadership. Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation skills. Proficiency with business software, spreadsheets, and presentation tools. Embraces learning and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications: Ability to manage multiple customer projects concurrently and meet timelines. Experience in Supply Chain, Ecommerce, Engineering, or FedEx Sales preferred. Strong analytical skills, experience with large data sets, and developing/presenting solutions. Skills in Project Management and Engineering are a plus.

Pay Transparency: This range estimates the starting salary across potential locations. Actual pay depends on experience, market, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
