Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our Ultrasound business. You will lead end-to-end planning, including supply and inventory, and drive early supply chain set-up for new launches.

The role requires 3–5 years in planning with strong Excel, data analytics, and ERP experience (MRP/APS/SAP/JDE). Travel up to 5% may be required. This is a full-time on-site position in Irvine.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required. A focus degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Operations is preferred. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years supply chain, operations, finance, and/or marketing experience is required.
  • Previous experience in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, materials management, procurement, and/or new product introductions is required.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • High proficiency and sophisticated use of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • MRP, APS, and/or ERP systems experience is required.
  • Experience in scenario planning is preferred.
  • Understanding planning system functionality, planning parameters, data integrity, net requirement inputs, and integration into S&OP and supply chain processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning activities for a product group within Ultrasound (supply, inventory, etc.).
  • Lead planning and coordination for early supply chain set-up and launch activities.
  • Represent Planning in project teams to ensure demand, supply, and capacity plans are included in standard processes.
  • Ensure data integrity in ERP and master data management systems.
  • Conduct data analysis to support IBP/S&OP and related forums.
  • Build analytical tools to support issue resolution, decision making, and execution oversight.
  • Identify risks and disruptions; develop scenarios with assumptions for leadership decisions.
  • Identify and implement planning process improvements across systems, processes, and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end planning activities (supply, inventory, etc.) for a product group within our Ultrasound business.
  • Lead planning and coordination needed for early supply chain set-up and launch activities.
  • Represent Supply Chain Planning in project teams to ensure that the demand, supply, and capacity plans are included in our standard planning processes.
  • Ensure data integrity related to planning and manufacturing in systems that include but are not limited to ERP and master data management systems.
  • Conduct and lead detailed data analysis to support IBP / S&OP and other related forums.
  • Build and apply in-depth analytical tools to support issue resolution, decision making, and execution oversight.
  • Identify and understand potential business risks and service disruptions. Develop scenarios with detailed assumptions and present to leadership in logical, concise format for decision making.
  • Identify and implement recommendations for planning process improvements which can address systems, processes, and data, etc.

  • Manugistics, JDE and/or SAP, Microsoft Access and/or SQL proficiency experience is preferred.
  • Six Sigma, LEAN Green Belt, or APICS certification preferred.
  • This position may require 5% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description For Pay Transparency

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
