Job summary

OrthoNebraska in Omaha, NE is seeking a Sr Supply Chain Materials Specialist to manage inventory of tissue/biologics and pull cases for the hospital and clinics.

You will maintain inventory levels, create requisitions, track expirations, and support Joint Commission standards while collaborating across OR teams, physicians, vendors, and transportation staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of medical and inventory experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience inputting and retrieving data from a computer and MMIS program.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of tissue/biologics and pull cases for the hospital and clinics.
• Create requisitions for surgical implants and supplies; forward to vendors.
• Inventory tissue/biologics and verify against packing slips.
• Inspect incoming implants and report shortages or damages.
• Log tissue/biologics into the tracking program.
• Assist with cycle counts and opportunities to reduce supply costs.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and participate in safety programs.
