Job summary

KanPak, LLC, a Golden State Foods company, seeks a Global Supplier Quality Senior Specialist to drive supplier quality, audits, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, high-quality ingredients and packaging.

Responsibilities include managing supplier programs, investigating non-conformances, and supporting customer complaint analyses. Travel for audits and site support is expected in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
• 5–10 years in food safety, quality assurance, or supplier quality management.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and supplier quality systems.

• Manage and enhance supplier quality programs, audits, scorecards, and risk assessments.
• Evaluate supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor raw materials and packaging for compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Lead investigations of non-conforming materials and supplier-related issues.
• Conduct supplier audits and support new supplier approvals.
• Maintain supplier documentation, specifications, and quality records.
• Support customer complaint investigations through data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Product Development, and Operations on supplier and product approvals.
• Support FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety initiatives.
• Train and mentor Supplier Quality Technicians across multiple facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Global Supplier Quality Senior Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring suppliers meet the highest standards for quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. You'll partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive performance, solve challenges, and support the delivery of safe, high-quality products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Experience conducting audits, managing supplier relationships, and driving quality improvements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
