Job summary

KanPak LLC is seeking a Global Supplier Quality Senior Specialist to ensure suppliers meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements across our global network. You will partner with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to drive performance and support the delivery of safe, high‑quality products.

In this role, you will lead supplier audits, manage scorecards, and mentor technicians while ensuring compliance with FSMA, HACCP, and GMP standards across multiple facilities and markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
• 5–10 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or supplier quality management.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSMA, supplier quality systems, and food safety regulations.
• Experience conducting audits and driving quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance supplier quality programs, audits, scorecards, and risk assessments.
• Evaluate supplier performance and drive corrective actions when needed.
• Monitor raw materials and packaging for compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Lead investigations of non-conforming materials and supplier-related issues.
• Conduct supplier audits and support new supplier approvals.
• Maintain supplier documentation, specifications, and quality records.
• Support customer complaint investigations through data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Product Development, and Operations on supplier and product approvals.
• Support FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety initiatives.
• Train and mentor Supplier Quality Technicians across multiple facilities.
