Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related field, 2+ years’ experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related field.
  • JD/PhD in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in materials management.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident; must be authorized to work without sponsorship.

Position Summary

The Sr. Supervisor, Materials and Inventory Control oversees material flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with ERP processes for parts and finished goods. This role leads and develops staff, manages cycle counting, resolves discrepancies, and implements process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency. Basic Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a related field, 4+ years’ experience in materials management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a related field, 2+ years’ experience in materials management.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a related field.
  • JD/PhD in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in materials management

Preferred Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes, including material movement and cycle counting.
  • Experience with material handling change processes and manufacturing process flow.
  • Proficient in computer applications and inventory control systems.
  • Familiarity with plant operations, equipment, and MTU products.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a materials or inventory control environment.
Mental & Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
