Job summary

Clearwater Analytics, LLC is seeking a Client Servicing Subject Matter Expert to act as a domain authority for investment accounting and client solutions. You will translate business requirements into Clearwater systems, design processes, and train team members across global clients.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 7+ years of experience, excellent communication, meticulous documentation, and the ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in investment accounting or related area.

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into system applications, process design, and SOPs.
• Provide accurate, timely responses in written and verbal forms; simplify complex topics.
• Collaborate with a global team to resolve problems and client inquiries.
• Work with development to enhance product offerings and client onboarding.
• Create training materials and SOPs; mentor team members.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and resources.

Job Summary

Client Servicing Subject Matter Experts are domain experts in a specific area or topic, operating as a liaison between our clients and internal teams. They develop and apply expertise on the Clearwater systems and processes to evaluate requirements and configure solutions to meet a wide range of investment accounting and reporting needs for Clearwater's largest clients. Regarded as trusted experts in their area, they have the confidence to make decisions and contribute to client success, whilst being able to provide instruction to team members regarding their area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Translate the client’s business requirements into specific system applications, process design, implementation materials/training and SOPs.
• Trusted to deliver accurate, timely and thorough responses to any inquiry in both written and verbal contexts, with the ability to simplify multiple complex topics.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team to accurately resolve complex problems and client inquiries in their area of specialism, as well as broader financial or accounting topics.
• Strategize with development teams to enhance our product offering, improve our client on-boarding experience, shorten delivery time frames, and develop repeatable, scalable processes.
• Spread your knowledge by regularly providing mentorship/training, as well as designing and implementing training materials and SOPs.
• Proactively work towards continuous improvement of processes, procedures, tools and resources within the team.
• Manage and consistently complete assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources.
• Key contributor for knowledge base and SOP documentation, leading efforts to drive client self-service.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance-related field, or experience in relevant area of specialization. 7+ years’ relevant experience.
