Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join our team in one of several locations, including Frisco, TX. The role focuses on expanding service markets across the western United States with an emphasis on Colorado, Texas, and surrounding states.

You’ll perform structural analysis and design for buildings, develop C(D)s, and coordinate with clients and project teams. A PE/SE license is preferred, and experience with semiconductor/clean room or industrial structures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
• PE or SE licensure preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor/clean room and/or industrial structures is a plus.
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry, or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment managing multiple projects.

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer in one of the following locations: Austin or Frisco, TX; Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center); Salt Lake City, UT; or Phoenix, AZ.
In this role you will join an experienced structural engineering group with a growth trajectory and play a central role in expanding service markets in the western United States, focusing on Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and surrounding states. The ideal candidate is organized, self‑motivated, customer‑oriented, and proficient in technical design and construction services.

What You’ll Do

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
• Perform site visits, attend client meetings, and coordinate with the project team

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred
• Experience with design and construction administration of semiconductor/clean room and/or industrial structures a plus
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry, or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Revit proficiency preferred
