Job Summary: The Sr. Strategic Account Representative collaborates with sales teams to represent products and services for creating 21st Century Learning Environments. Deep knowledge of School Specialty’s offerings—furniture, equipment, education essentials, technology, safety, and security—is crucial. The role involves assessing customer needs, providing solutions, and building customer relationships to drive sales growth and meet or exceed sales forecasts.

Work Location:

  • This is a remote role.
  • Candidate must reside within the territory.

Compensation: $80K - $100K annually, plus quarterly sales incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Account Plans based on customer needs and market analysis.
  • Understand education market trends to promote our value proposition.
  • Build relationships with key school districts and develop growth strategies.
  • Collaborate within the team to achieve sales objectives across our product offerings.
  • Utilize tools like Salesforce.com (OneForce) to focus efforts and track progress.
  • Manage funding and bond strategies, including regular team discussions and updates.
  • Manage travel, entertainment, and business expense budgets.
  • Complete ongoing professional training and operational understanding through various organizational departments.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in K-12 furniture, essentials, or education technology sales/project management.
  • Strong sales process skills: territory management, time management, financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and insurance.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or equivalent experience.
