ADI Global Distribution is seeking a Sr. Director of Procurement to shape global sourcing strategies, drive cost reductions, and ensure supply continuity.

You will lead cross-functional teams across procurement, engineering, operations and finance, translating business goals into actionable plans and negotiating strategic contracts. This role requires at least 10 years in procurement with global responsibility, strong expertise in risk management, cost modeling, and supplier performance.

Job Description

The Sr. Director of Procurement will be responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies that align with the company's business objectives, focusing on cost optimization, supplier performance, supplier quality, and supply continuity. This leader will oversee strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver competitive advantages, operational excellence, and business growth. The Sr. Director will act as the primary liaison between procurement, engineering, operations, and senior leadership teams.

The Sr. Director will act as the primary liaison between procurement, engineering, operations, and senior leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term and short-term strategic procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead global procurement teams to deliver cost savings, supply continuity, supplier quality and operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships, including negotiation of complex contracts and development of supplier performance management strategies.
• Oversee supplier transitions, including insourcing, outsourcing, and supplier consolidations to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Finance, to support new product introductions and strategic growth initiatives.
• Drive implementation of cost analytics, should-cost models, and value engineering to achieve total cost of ownership savings.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including multi-sourcing and contingency planning.
• Lead the development and implementation of procurement processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage large procurement budgets ($300M+) and drive achievement of financial targets, including CE/VE savings and working capital improvements.
• Act as a mentor and coach to procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing with global responsibilities.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and project management.
• Demonstrated experience managing large spend categories and driving cost savings initiatives.
• Expertise in cost modeling, financial analysis, and risk management.

Hiring Salary Range : The typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $215091.67 to $320896.67 per year but varies by specific work location. For example, the hiring salary for this role in Melville, NY is $258110.0 to $385076.0 per year and New York City, NY is $268864.58 to $401120.83 . Within a range, our company determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.

Incentive Eligible (RBP) : This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 20% of the annual base salary. The bonus is contingent upon both individual and company performance.

Annual Equity Awards : You will be eligible for an annual equity grant, consisting of time-based restricted stock units based on individual and Company performance.
