In this role, you will:
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity by identifying discrepancies, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Data Ownership: Develop and maintain SQL queries to analyze and navigate complex financial data effectively and define metrics and leading indicators of business performance
- Dashboard Creation & Maintenance: Design and implement comprehensive dashboards for real-time visibility into key metrics and system health
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams to identify data needs, establish reporting requirements, and optimize performance metrics.
- Data Modeling: Design and build data models that facilitate efficient reporting and dashboard creation
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide support for key business initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification and reporting enhancements.
Skills Required:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data
- Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate as well as distill data into actionable information to drive results
- Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve multi-faceted problems with effective solutions
- Relationship Building: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners, inclusive of senior members of management with ability to influence at all levels
- Presentation Skills: Effective in a variety of presentation settings including one-on-one, small, and large groups
About you:
- 4+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst, BI Analyst or Data Analyst role, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field
- A keen analytical eye and experience building integrated models from scratch (in Excel, or other planning applications)
- Proficient in SQL for querying large datasets.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) for data visualization and reporting
- Ability to translate complex concepts into simple takeaways and are not hesitant to voice your point of view
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills are required
- Prior experience with SalesForce.com or ERP/NetSuite a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a simple, actionable manner

The annual OTE is up to $145,000-$180,000 (base + bonus combined).
