Sr. Storage and Virtualization Consultant

Join to apply for the Sr. Storage and Virtualization Consultant role at ClearBridge Technology Group.

Our client, located in TX, is seeking a Sr. Storage and Virtualization Consultant for a 12-month contract. The role is remote with up to one week per quarter onsite, supporting NetApp storage management, Ansible automation, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

1. Define and build proof of concepts to demonstrate NetApp capabilities within customer environments.
2. Consult on system design and behavior.
3. Assist customers in defining and developing operational processes focusing on reliability, security, and performance.
4. Architect and integrate NetApp storage into various virtual computing environments.
5. Research support case questions and provide responses.
6. Troubleshoot configuration, connectivity, and performance issues.

Required Skills

1. Ability to work on a W2 basis.
2. Experience with NetApp and Cloud Data ONTAP (CDOT) storage management, with a deep understanding of OnTap.
3. Experience with Kubernetes and VMware.
4. Strong scripting and automation skills with Python and Ansible.
5. Strong skills in systems reliability and storage performance.

Desired Skills

1. Experience with Go programming language.
2. Cloud platform experience.
3. System architecture experience for large-scale environments.
