Job summary

Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Senior Storage Administrator/Engineer to support the corporate storage team. The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and Security+ CE or higher, with 10+ years of storage administration experience.

You will monitor and manage backup systems, coordinate with customers to expand backups for new servers/VMs, and configure new backup solutions as purchased. The position includes after-hours on-call rotations and an emphasis on security and SSP re-authorization.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Must have Security+ CE or higher.
• 10+ years of relevant experience as a System/Storage Administrator, Storage Admin.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage backup systems including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik systems.
• Work with customers to add new servers and VMs into backups and troubleshoot issues.
• Configure a new backup solution when purchased.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate break/fix for backup appliances (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubik) and disk arrays (Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast, IBM).
• Monitor and fix issues with the SAN using command line troubleshooting and zoning.
• Coordinate with the ISSO to patch vulnerabilities.
• Assist the ISSO with SSP re-authorization.

Activities / Duties

• Monitor and manage backup systems including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik systems.
• Work with customers to add new servers and VMs into backups and to troubleshoot issues.
• Configure a new backup solution when purchased
• Troubleshoot and coordinate break fix for backup appliances (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubik) and disk arrays Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast and IBM storage arrays.
• Monitor and fix issues with the SAN using command line troubleshooting and zoning.
• Work with the ISSO to make sure that vulnerabilities are patched.
• Work with the ISSO for SSP re-authorization.

This role includes a scheduled rotational on-call for after hours.

Salary range for this position

$180,000-$210,000 #CJ
