Summit Point Roofing is seeking a Senior Steep Slope Service Technician to lead complex steep slope roofing projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure top-tier craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work weekends/holidays, and 2+ years of roofing experience. Candidates should have basic carpentry skills, be able to lift 80 lbs, and follow OSHA safety standards.

• Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• Proven experience as a roofing technician or similar role, ideally 2+ years.
• Basic carpentry and construction knowledge.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds.
• Ability to perform tasks that require climbing, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights.
• Dedicated to upholding company values.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, and repairs of steep slope roofing systems, including slate, tile, copper, custom metal, and architectural roofs.
• Handle complex roof structures such as dormers, turrets, valleys, and multi-level pitches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve challenging roofing issues with advanced problem-solving skills.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
• Communicate with clients regarding roof condition, repair/replacement options, and project updates.
• Conduct detailed inspections and provide thorough service reports.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards.
