Role & Responsibilities:

• Uses SAS or other software to develop custom programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.
• Ensures that outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Performs validation programming and collaborates with Programmers, Biostatisticians, and other team members to resolve discrepancies.
• Informs team members of programming progress and issues requiring attention.
• Follows SOPs, WIs, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
• Maintains organized, complete, and up-to-date documentation, testing, and quality control records, ensuring inspection readiness.
• Manages scheduling and prioritizes across multiple projects, adapting to changes as needed.
• Develops specifications for datasets and outputs, addressing potential issues proactively.
• Prepares for meetings, contributes ideas, and respects team opinions.
• Conducts effective meetings, distributes minutes, and follows up on action items.
• Collaborates with others and supports projects to meet business needs.
• Estimates time for programming tasks and completes activities within deadlines.
• Acts as the lead statistical programmer, overseeing others' activities and monitoring progress.
• Reviews project documentation and provides feedback to improve efficiency.
• Participates in sponsor and project meetings as a programming representative.
• Mentors programming staff through training and review.
• Transfers deliverables and performs manual quality control of outputs, including document comparison, project management, and review of work by other programmers.
